The Stainless Steel TRI-TIE

Specially designed

to provide a safe, strong, rigid, corrosion resistant and cost-effective replacement for traditional butterfly and double triangle wall ties, the Stainless Steel TRI-TIE exceeds the requirements of the British Standard DD 140: part 2 Recommendations for the Design of Wall Ties.  In addition the ties have been independently assessed by the BRE and have NHBC approval.

Manufactured

in type 18/8 austenitic stainless steel on state-of-the-art computer control machinery, the TRI-TIE is available from stock in two lengths - 200 mm for cavities up to 75 mm, and 225 mm for cavities up to 100 mm; and two thicknesses, covering most requirements for both general purpose and light duty (Housing) masonry.

The Inherent

properties of the stainless steel wire give the unique design the strength and rigidity to provide high performance, and also the flexibility required to accommodate movement due to temperature, moisture and settlement.  The double trip configuration ensures that the tie cannot be installed upside down and any moisture is channelled towards the centre of the cavity.
