Housing Ties (Type 4).

Application

The Housing (Type 4) TRI-TIE is suitable for masonry cavity walling of brick or block work for houses of up to 10 m in height, situated in areas of the British Isles where the basic wind speed may be up to 44 m/s (or town/city sites where basic wind speed does not exceed 52 m/s).

The Housing tie has been independently assessed by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and has NHBC approval for both technical requirements and sound transmission in party walls.
